As an ordinary person, I share the same name with this place, which feels like a wonderful fate. "Xiangyun" literally means auspicious clouds, symbolizing good fortune, calmness and warmth. My parents gave me this name, hoping that I would live a smooth, bright and peaceful life. The name of Xiangyun County also carries good wishes for the land — for favorable weather and prosperity and well-being of its people. We share the same name yet live in different worlds, but both embrace the same beautiful meaning. Although I have never visited the landscapes of Xiangyun County, I feel a natural connection and longing for it simply because of our shared name. It is a place amid the vast world; I am an ordinary person in daily life, yet we are quietly linked by the name "Xiangyun". This small coincidence often makes me reflect: I should live up to my name.
